About Michelle Mosby

A woman of Faith, a Mother, a Daughter and Entrepreneur: I am Michelle Mosby and I want to represent YOU. (Sound familiar?- well that’s because representing people and their interests is what I DO). I am a Native Richmonder with an immense love for our City and I bring over 20 years of expertise with multiple local real estate agencies to the team.

I’ve lived in just about every part of our City from Church Hill to the Northside to the Southside. I’m an advocate and a firm believer in all of our Richmond communities, particularly for the Southside where growth is needed. I am a believer in building communities, helping persons to reach their full potential, and in being a part of the change our City is looking for. I began making change through my nonprofit foundation Help Me Help You aimed at reducing recidivism, serving on the Criminal Justice Boards for both the Commonwealth of Virginia and the City of Richmond, chairing the Career Technical Education Board in our City to improve our City’s educational outcomes and even serving on the Richmond City Council for 4 years – where I was elected its first African American female president in 2015.

In my brief tenure in public service I have been apart of RVA’s change by bringing jobs to many of the the most desperate areas of our city and by making it a priority to add funding to anti-poverty initiatives including and especially those relating to affordable housing.

I have built relationships throughout this City; as a matter of fact my success as a council person has been largely due to my ability to meet people where they are and help us all get to our desired end. My skill set enables me to continue to make RVA better. I am a proven Broker and REALTORĀ® excited to fulfill my goal to help both sellers and buyers reach their goals and to make the dreams for their home come true. I am Michelle Mosby and I’m hoping that you would give me a call and allow me serve you.
